Responsible for data processing

What data we process
Uploaded photos: We process your photo solely to generate the desired visualization. The image is sent to the AI model provider (Google Gemini API). We do not store your original photo permanently on our servers.
Prompt texts: Your modification description is passed to the AI together with the image.
Technical data: Server logs (IP address, timestamp, browser) — for error analysis and protection against abuse, automatic deletion after 30 days.
Sharing with third parties
Uploaded photos and prompts are passed to the Google Gemini API . Google processes the data according to its privacy terms. Hosting is provided via Vercel/Cloudflare.
We do not share personal data with other third parties unless legally required to do so.
Error monitoring
To ensure stable operation, we use Sentry (Functional Software, Inc.; EU region Frankfurt) to automatically capture technical errors. On error, we capture: IP address, user agent, requested URL, stack trace, and — if logged in — your email. This data is used exclusively for error diagnosis and not for marketing or profiling.
Legal basis is our legitimate interest in stable and secure operation of the service (GDPR Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f, in Switzerland revFADP).
Your rights
You have the right at any time to access, correct, delete, restrict the processing of, and port your data. Please direct requests to the contact address listed in the imprint.

Processing is based on your consent (by uploading) and our legitimate interest in operating the Service. In Switzerland: revFADP. In the EU: GDPR Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a and f.
Cookies & tracking
AfterMod currently does not set any marketing or analytics cookies. Only technically necessary cookies (e.g. for language preference) are set.
